Looking to take a YouTube clip, Twitter feed, or other content and place it directly into your JT Learn page? Taking content from elsewhere and placing it within your JT
Learn site is known as embedding. You can embed a number of items: YouTube
videos, Twitter Feeds, Blendspace Lessons, a Symbaloo Webmix, or any resource
with a HTML embed code.
A HTML embed
code is usually found under a“share” icon. If taking content from YouTube, you click
on share under the video and then embed. You will then be able to copy the HTML code.
Once you find an embed code and copy it to your clipboard, just
follow the steps below to place it on your JT Learn page:
Navigate to the JT Learn
Page you would like to embed the content on, and put the page into edit mode.
Place your cursor where you want the content, and click:
Insert ~ Web Part ~ Forms ~ HTML Form Web Part ~ Add
After clicking add, the Web Part will appear on your JT
Learn page. While still in edit mode, click on the small arrow within the Web
part, and click Edit Web Part.
Then, click on Source Editor. Erase the text that is already
there, and paste the HTML code you copied from the content you are looking to
embed here. Click Save.
The embedded content should
now appear on your JT Learn page. Notice at the top of the content, there is a
default title: “HTML Form Web Part”. You can change that title by:
Clicking on appearance, and under title type in your new title. Click ok
at the bottom.
